In the Wal-Mart Auditorium, there are paintings by Deborah Terry, founding faculty member and the first department head of the NWACC Art Department. This anthology of drawings and paintings speaks directly to the foundation of our robust and stellar art department. In the Peterson Auditorium, there are paintings by Sharon Simmons, steadfast staff member of the NWACC Art Department. This exhibit, titled “1 Part Water, 2 Parts Joy,” demonstrates Sharon’s talents while capturing her infectious exuberance. In the Student Center Room 108, there is an eclectic exhibit involving graduates of the NWACC Graphic Design program. This collection of works truly reflects the quality of that degree program. The shows will be available through the end of November so stop by and celebrate the college’s history of art.
